When Steve and Kathy moved here Merlin's Cottage was no more than a dream. Standing empty and in dire need of renovating, the gite had been used as a sound studio, and as such had no windows and was covered in carpet, from floor to ceiling!

Once he had tackled the main house, Steve set about restoring Merlin's Cottage into the charming and cosy little gite it is today. With the appropriate permissions from the local Mairie, the windows were replaced, and the gite transformed from a cold, dark empty space into a comfortable hideaway for two.
